## 3. SMS / Text Messaging Program

If you opt in to receive text messages from Triple Crown Sports (including tournament updates, schedule changes, registration confirmations, promotions, or other alerts), the following applies:

- **Consent.** By submitting your mobile phone number through one of our web forms and checking the applicable consent box, you agree to receive recurring text messages from Triple Crown Sports at the number provided. Consent is not a condition of purchase or event registration.
- **Message frequency** varies depending on the program and your activity with us (e.g., tournament participation, event updates).

- Full program terms, including carrier liability and eligibility, are available in our [SMS Terms of Service](/sms-terms-of-service).

This section governs SMS-specific data. It supplements, and where it conflicts, controls over, the general disclosure practices described in Section 6 below.

## 4. Photos and Videos Posted to Our Social Accounts

If you post a photo or video to our Facebook, Instagram, or other social accounts, we reserve the right to use those images, except that we will not use your photos or videos for advertising purposes without your consent.

## 5. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your experience, remember items in your cart, gather general visitor information, and understand how our site is used.

You can set your browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If you disable cookies, some features of our site may not function properly, but you can still complete registrations or place orders by phone.

## 6. How We Protect Your Information

We implement a variety of security measures to protect your personal information. Sensitive information (such as payment details) is transmitted via SSL/TLS encryption to our payment gateway provider and is accessible only to personnel with authorized access, who are required to keep it confidential.

Following a transaction, certain records may be retained beyond 60 days where necessary to process refunds related to weather cancellations or tournament changes.

## 7. Disclosure of Information to Third Parties

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

- **Service providers** who help us operate our website, process payments, manage events, or communicate with you (e.g., hosting providers, payment processors, our SMS/email service providers), under confidentiality obligations
- **Legal and safety purposes**, where required by law, to enforce our site policies, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of others
- **A successor entity**, if Triple Crown Sports is acquired, merged, or transfers substantially all of its assets; the successor would continue to be bound by this Policy
- **Aggregated, non-personally-identifiable data**, which may be shared for analytics, marketing, or research purposes

**Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from the above and will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the text message services.**

## 8. Third-Party Links

Our site may include links to third-party products or services. These third-party sites have their own, independent privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content or practices of these linked sites.

## 9. Your Choices

- **Email:** Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.
- **SMS:** Reply STOP to any text message to opt out at any time.
- **Cookies:** Adjust your browser settings to control cookie behavior.

## 10. Youth Participant & Children's Privacy

Triple Crown Sports operates youth sports tournaments, and as part of running those events, we collect certain information about minor participants — including athletes under 13 — such as name, age or date of birth, team affiliation, jersey number, and, where applicable, emergency contact or medical information needed for event safety.

This information is provided to us **by a parent, legal guardian, coach, or team administrator** as part of team and tournament registration — it is not collected directly from the child through interaction with our website or app, and our site and digital properties are directed at adults (parents, coaches, and team administrators), not at children.

We use youth participant information solely for tournament administration purposes: building rosters and brackets, verifying eligibility, coordinating with venues and insurers, and ensuring player safety during events. We do not use this information to market directly to minors, and we do not knowingly allow children under 13 to create accounts or otherwise interact directly with our digital properties.

**Parent/guardian rights.** A parent or legal guardian may contact us at any time to review, correct, or request deletion of their child's information, subject to our need to retain certain records for event safety, insurance, or legal purposes (for example, retaining incident records from a tournament). To make a request, contact us using the information in Section 12.

If we become aware that a child has submitted personal information directly to us without a parent, guardian, or team administrator acting on their behalf, we will take steps to delete that information.

## 11. Changes to This Policy

If we change this Privacy Policy, we will post the updated version on this page along with a new "Last updated" date.
