Welcome to Triple Crown Hockey, one of the fastest growing tournament series in the US.

It all began back in 1991, when Triple Crown started the first outdoor hockey tournament series. Back in those days, the game was played on portable rinks using a ball instead of a puck. No parking lot in America was safe from hosting an event. Years later the game of roller hockey began to evolve. Players were becoming stronger, faster and more talented. The parking lot surfaces were unable to support their skill levels. They needed a faster, smoother surface to skate on. Listening to what the market was telling us, Triple Crown moved all of its events indoors in 1998 and renamed it the Triple Crown Hockey Series. More than 400 teams participated in the inaugural year. It's been a blur ever since!

We currently offer 14-16 Regional Tournaments across the country, capped with the Summer Nationals in July and the Florida Championships in September. In 2003, the Summer Nationals drew a field of 54 teams from nearly 10-states. The Fall Championships, playing on a new date brought in 32 squads to vie for the top spot.

Triple Crown Hockey expects bigger and better things for the 2004 Championships. The Summer Nationals will build on the success of the past two years to draw the top teams from around the area and the nation. The Fall games get a fresh new look. In addition to returning to the better established September date, the tournament takes on a title that better reflects it's personality. The Florida Championships allow the top teams to play for state bragging rites, while attracting out of state hopefuls to take that honor home with them.

2004 also marks the return to more familiar age divisions. Juniors fall back to the 16-under classification, which opens the door for the 18-unders to make their triumphant return.
