Wisconsin wins the Cancun Challenge and improves to 8-0 on the season after defeating West Virginia 70-63 at the all-inclusive Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya.
Wisconsin's Sam Dekker finished with a career-high 21 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. Ben Brust scored 16 points, Josh Gasser had 11, Frank Kaminsky had 10, and the Badgers made 16 of 17 free-throw attempts. Both teams scored 11 3-pointers and traded treys down the stretch.
With 15 assists, Wisconsin played team ball - four players scored in double digits - while West Virginia (5-2) was led by Eron Harris, with a game-high 27 points and a career-high seven 3-pointers, and Juwan Staten, with 18 points.
The Badgers become the second Big Ten team to win the Cancun Challenge (Illinois, 2010) and the third team ranked in the top-10 to win (No. 4 Kentucky, 2009; No. 10 Missouri, 2010).

Saint Louis 62, Old Dominion 52
Saint Louis (6-1) defeats Old Dominion (4-3) 62-52 to finish third in the Riviera Division of the Cancun Challenge.
Dwayne Evans scored a season-high 21 points for the Billikens and Rob Loe finished in double figures for the second straight game with ten points and five rebounds.
ODU’s Aaron Bacote led the team with 15 points and Ambrose Mosley chipped in 12 points and six boards.

Oral Roberts (4-3) wins the Mayan Division of the Cancun Challenge with a 63-56 win over Bowling Green (2-4).
Shawn Glover led all scorers with 27 points and a team-high six rebounds. Korey Billbury chipped in 17 and Adrion Webber added ten, both came off the bench.
Anthony Henderson and Spencer Parker paced BGSU with 12 points each. Cameron Black added a double-double with a game-high 13 rebounds and ten points.
BGSU led at halftime 35-26 and by as much as 11 at the 18:17 mark of the second half. However, ORU went on an 11-1 run with five minutes left in the game to take the lead 52-50. The Golden Eagles held on to the lead in the final few minutes despite BGSU’s late game rally after a Henderson three-pointers with 18 seconds left to pull within three points.
Glover sealed the win for ORU hitting four clutch free throws in the final few seconds of the game.

Georgia Southern (3-4) finishes the Cancun Challenge third in the Mayan Division after defeating Presbyterian College (1-7), 76-66 in the ballroom of the all-inclusive Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya.
GSU’s Jelani Hewitt finished with a game-high 26 points and Tre Bussey added 21 for the Eagles.
Reggie Dillard netted 22 points for PC and William Truss finished with a double-double scoring ten points and pulling down ten boards.
GSU took a five-point lead into halftime and extended the advantage to as many as 14 before Presbyterian came back to make the game interesting down the stretch.
