2018 marks the 15th year for the Triple Crown Sparkler tournament. In 2017, more than 900 teams played in the event and more than 2500 girls participated in our Showcase All-Star games each evening at the Christopher and Skyview Complexes.
New for 2018 we're expanding Power Pools to 72 teams! 64 teams will receive automatic berths and 32 will be placed in a Supplemental Pool to determine the last eight spots. Power Pools will be played at The Ballpark at Erie, Firestone Community Park and Nelson Farms Park in Johnstown. Power Pools will once again require an application for consideration. All applications must be received no later than April 1, 2018. The DOCUMENTS section of the Sparkler Juniors page details criteria considered for Power Pool consideration. All teams not accepted into the Power Pools will be placed in the 14U Open Division.
14 & Under Open Division- Triple Crown is excited to announce that the 14U division will be making it's return to Northern Colorado.
12 & Under Open Division- We debuted the 14U division in Colorado Springs in 2017 to outstanding reviews and in 2018 we'l be sending 12U south to the Springs for the first time. We'll continue to feature this division as our TC/ USA National Championship and dedicate Colorado Springs as the home of this event moving forward.
After an amazing debut in 2017, we'll once again bring you our Early Identifier Camp with some exciting new tweaks! Details to follow.
