Pricing Information: Gate Fee Info $950 entry fee must be submitted with application no later than November 28, 2013 to be considered for the Rising Stars Winter Nationals Showcase Event. All entry fees will be processed/deposited, refunds upon non-acceptance will be processed no later than November 30, 2013. No refunds will be issued if you cancel once your team has been bracketed in the event. A full refund will be returned if cancelled from the waiting list.
Event open to 16u A, 18u A, & 18u Gold. Teams will NOT be permitted to play up. Teams must play in the age classification that they will register for ASA Nationals in 2014.
Rising Stars Winter Event will combine bracket play with showcase. Teams will be seeded into multiple single elimination brackets and then play regular showcase games. Bracket play seeding selections will be made based off our TC/USA Softball Poll and TCS/Rising Stars participation history. All single elimination brackets will be a guarantee of 3 games at 1 hour and 40 minutes (finish the inning). After bracket play all teams will be pre-assigned into pools and play 3 showcase games at 1 hour and 30 minutes (drop dead). Game format is 6 games.
Official exhibition play will start on Friday morning, January 3rd. All teams should be prepared to play their first game on Friday morning at 8AM and be prepared to play through early Sunday afternoon (2PM). Schedule requests will NOT be accommodated. We have access to many fields including, but not limited to: Bamford Sports Complex, Brian Piccolo Park, Central Park, Driftwood Park, Nova Southeastern University, Pop Travers, and/or Sunset Park. Please click on the Facilities tab on the right hand side for further information.

At check-in, all teams must submit a copy of their team team insurance and provide a working cell number where we can contact you during the tournament.
TCS Rising Stars is an ASA Sanctioned event, therefore if your team is ASA sanctioned you may submit a copy of the team insurance or ASA roaster.

History
2014 will mark the second year TCS Rising Stars will include a Nationals with its Showcase Event. Rising Stars Winter Event will combine bracket play with showcase. Teams will be seeded into multiple single elimination brackets and regular showcase games. The 2014 Winter Nationals Showcase will continue Power Pool bracketing.

TCS Rising Stars Winter Nationals Showcase Event is combined with a high quality of multiple single elimination brackets and pre-assigned showcase games. With hundreds of College Coaches attending each year and many vendors participating at each event. The event is located in Plantation/Davie, FL only minutes from the Fort Lauderdale International Airport.
TCS Rising Stars is an organization that promotes amateur fastpitch softball and manages the operation of youth tournaments, recruiting camps, clinics and other events. While holding itself to the highest standards of quality, TCS Rising Stars has gained the national reputation of being a leader in the area of providing athletes many opportunities to achieve a higher education through college scholarships.
