Pay by 12/31/07 for the following discounts: $25 off per entry for your first two Triple Crown - Colorado Series entries; $50 discount for each entry after that. Remember, you *must* pay by 12/31/07 to receive the Early Entry Discount. This discount only applies to Triple Crown events in Colorado (World Series *not* included).
Event Format: Pool Play, Three-Game Guarantee. Where possible, teams will be put in pools of 4 -- the 1st place team out of each pool advances to a single-elimination playoff. Age Cutoff Date: 5/1/2008 Entry Deadline: 4/2/2008 (Event Could Sell Out Prior to Deadline!) Event Awards: 1st Place: Team Plaque, Individual Pennants, 2nd Place: Team Plaque, Individual Pennants. Championship Berths: 1st place teams in 8u through 14u receive berths to the Triple Crown World Series in Steamboat Springs (CO). 15s receive berth to Triple Crown World Series in Grand Junction (CO). Champions in *every* age earn berths to Triple Crown's other Championship events (in Las Vegas, Myrtle Beach, and St. Augustine). Another great early qualifier featuring nice ballfields! This event averages 100+ teams per year. Games are played in Longmont, Louisville, Boulder & Brighton with other surrounding sites possible.
The Pennant Race is the only chance for players to earn the Triple Crown Pennant ... an individual award that will look great on the wall of any young ballplayer.
2006 was the first year that Triple Crown offered a Division 2 for this event weekend. What a success!! The event grew from 94 teams in 2005 to 140 teams in 2006. In 2007 we continued to grow from 140 teams to 154 teams, so be sure to sign up early to secure your spot for this weekend!!!!
