Event Format: Three game guarantee. Pool Play -Single Elimination.
Age Cutoff Date: 5/1/2007
Entry Deadline: 6/13/2008 (Event Could Sell Out Prior to Deadline!)
Event Awards: 1st place will receive a team plaque, 15 individual awards (TBA), 2nd place will receive a team plaque, 15 individual awards (TBA)
Championship Berths: Division 1 Brackets:
If there are 4 to 7 teams per bracket, the top 2 teams will be awarded berths. If there are 8 to 14 teams per bracket, the top 3 teams will receive a berth. If there are 15 or more teams per bracket, the top 4 teams will receive a berth to:
-The Steamboat Springs, CO World Series,
-Triple Crown Summer Nationals in Myrtle Beach, SC,
-Las Vegas Fall Nationals,
-or St. Augustine, FL Fall Nationals.
-Spring Championships during MLB spring training in Arizona and Omaha College World Series Tournaments are open invitation!
Equipment Required: If your signed Triple Crown roster has not been mailed, submit it prior to your first game. Each team must carry a packet of birth certificates throughout tournament. 2 new baseballs and one used baseball per game. You will get your baseballs back after the game.

Sanctioning Body: Open to all teams, play by National Federation of High School rules with Triple Crown modifications (see Triple Crown Rules)

The Triple Crown Baseball Series returns to Morgantown, West Virginia for the 4th year. This event is quickly becoming one of the more popular events in the region with teams coming from PA, MD, OH, NJ, NY and VA. In 2006, 46 teams desended upon Morgantown to a sold out venue. The tournament again will be hosted by Mylan Park and will be played at the the Anker fields complex along with East Fairmont High School and Mary Lou Retton Park. Limited space for this tournament, so enter early. Many of the teams in 2007 entered this tournament early. **BECAUSE OF THE SIZE OF THE EVENT ADDITIONAL FACILITIES WILL BE USED AROUND MORGANTOWN AND EAST FAIRMONT**
If your looking to add a post season Championship to your schedule, play in the Morgantown Marathon and you will get the opportunity to qualify for the Triple Crown Summer National in Myrtle Beach.
Morgantown Marathon Baseball in West Virginia. Play will start on Friday at Noon and will continue late into the night on Friday and Saturday night with play completing on Sunday night by 9PM. This will be a great baseball experience that everyone should be a part of.
Pitching and base distances for this event:
13's & 14's will play 60'-90'
11's-12's will play 50'-70'
9's-10's will play 46'-65'
