Event Format: Minimum 6 games/Pool/1st&2nd in pool to Double(Platinum Bracket)/3rd in pool to Double(Gold Bracket), 4th in pool to Double(Silver Bracket), and 5th to Double(Bronze Bracket). 14u will play pool to 1st-3rd to Double (Gold Bracket), 4th & 5th to Double (Silver Bracket). Age Cutoff Date: 12/31/2006 Entry Deadline: 3/1/2007 (Event Could Sell Out Prior to Deadline!) Event Awards:PLATINUM BRACKET: 1st-4th team plague,1st-2nd Individual; GOLD BRACKET: 1st-2nd team plaque, 1st-2nd Individual; SILVER BRACKET: 1st-2nd team plaque, 1st-2nd Individual; BRONZE BRACKET: 1st-2nd team plaque, 1st-2nd Individual Championship Berths: Berths for the 2007 Triple Crown World Series to be held in Park City, Utah will be awarded to all teams that enter the Triple Crown Sparkler. This excludes all CA, CO, AZ, and UT teams because there are qualifying tournaments in your state. Equipment Required: Teams are required to provide one new and one used ball per game. Worth will be the official ball sponsor of the Sparkler tournament. This ball will be available for purchase at a discounted price to all teams in the Sparkler. History
2007 will start the 6th year of the Triple Crown Sparkler tournament. In 2006, 350 teams participated in 14U, 16U, and 18U. The goal in 2006 was to see 200 college coaches come to the tournament--over 250 came and most of those came looking for players and teams that had contacted them and had given them their schedule while in the Denver area. The college coaches are in the area--it is a matter of letting them know where and when you'll be playing and they will make all the effort to come see your specific player(s). A list of registered college coaches from the 2006 Sparkler can be found under the "forms" section of this website shortly.
