Pricing Information: 16U and 18U--$225 per player. camp format accepts Individual players, complete teams, or partial teams. Camp director will keep teams intact most of the time and form teams with partial and individual players.
Event Format: Individual camp/games on Friday, teams will be formed to play games on Saturday and Sunday. TEAMS ARE COACHED BY COLLEGE COACHES!! Each player/team will be required to complete college placement information by October 16, 2006. Age Cutoff Date: 12/31/2005 Entry Deadline: 10/23/2006 (Event Could Sell Out Prior to Deadline!) Event Awards: Each player will receive a camp participation award. Equipment Required: Each player must bring their own bat bag, bats, helmet, uniform, sweats, catching gear, etc. Medical release form that is found on this site under Forms section must be completed and faxed to 970-223-3636 or bring with you to the camp. History
2006 will start the 2nd year of the Showcase concept in Las Vegas, Nevada, and the 1st year in Plantation, Florida in which individual players, partial teams, and/or complete teams will enter as individuals. 2005 was very successful in Las Vegas and will go to 500 players and 50+ college coaches. 2006 Dream City Showcase in Plantation will see 200+ players and 30+ college coahes. The Dream City Showcase cost is $225 per player for the 2 1/2 day camp. Complete teams may enter and the camp director will keep the team intact if possible. Partial teams may enter and individaul players will be placed with them to form complete teams.
Friday: 8:30 am--Check In at Sunset Park in Plantation. 9:30 am--2 pm: Individual instructions/games played with various college coaches from throughout the United States. Water will be provided but NO FOOD.
Saturday: 9:00 am--1 pm. Teams will be formed and coached by college coaches. 2 games will be played this day.
Sunday: 9:00 am--1:00 pm. Teams will be formed and coached by college coaches. 1-2 games will be played this day.
