History
2003 will start the 3rd year of the Sparkler tournament. In 2002, 108 teams participated in 14U, 16U, and 18U. The goal in 2002 was to see 90 college coaches come to the tournament--45 came and most of those came looking for players and teams that had contacted them and had given them their schedule while in the Denver area. In 2003, the goal was 90 college coaches and 82 came to the tournament. The college coaches are in the area--it is a matter of letting them know where and when you'll be playing and they will make all the effort to come see your specific player(s).
