Teams will have the ability to place a team deposit to hold their spot in the tournament. The team deposit goes towards the purchase of one package and is non-refundable. There will NOT be a team entry fee for traveling teams.
Each participant is required to purchase a package.

Players, coaches, and fans can purchase a package.
Minimum team requirement: 12 players and 2 coaches (can substitute coaches or fans for players). Local teams (an hour away from New York City) please contact event director for information on pricing, schedule and registration.
Event Format: 18U, 16U, 14U and 12U divisions are separate and open. Each team will play a 4 game open format. No bracket or elimination play.
For an additional cost, a 6 game format is also available!
Play in Central Park and experience all that New York City, Central Park, and Broadway has to offer. Space is limited, so be sure to sign up early.
Age Cutoff Date: Entry Deadline: 5/1/2009 (Event Could Sell Out Prior to Deadline!) Event Awards: Each person that purchases a package will receive a t-shirt. Each team will receive a team memento for attending the New York City tournament. Local teams will ONLY receive a team memento. 2008 was the inaugural year for the New York City experience and tournament. Each team played softball in Central Park and got to enjoy all the sites of New York City! Each participant purchased a package and that package included hotel transfers, lodging, and sightseeing activities.
2009 will be the second year for the New York City Experience & tournament. Register early to give your team the opportunity to fundraise for this amazing opportunity!
Each team will be provided with a Triple Crown tour guide who is knowledgable about New York and navigating the city. The tour guide will be with the team at all times and will navigate the team around New York City.
Sample Itinerary This is a sample itinerary. In no way are the activities below guaranteed to be provided with each package.
Day 1: Arrive in NYC by 12pm (noon). Shuttle bus will pick you up and take you to hotel 3:30pm: Leave by Subway to Times Square for dinner 4:00pm: OPTIONAL: Sporting Event or Broadway show *available for teams who arrive before 2pm 7:00pm: After game/show see the city or return to hotel
Day 2: 9:30am: Leave hotel, ride subway to Central Park 11:00am: Play a double header 4:00pm: Return to hotel 5:00pm: Ride subway to Times Square, eat dinner and optional shopping
Day 3: (Day OFF) 9:00am: Double Decker Bus Tour to see the sights (options) Ground Zero Lower Manhattan Time Square Lincoln Center Fifth Avenue Harlem Guggenheim Museums Empire State Building Greenwich Village SoHo Little Italy Chinatown 12:00pm: Hop off bus at Canal street for shopping 6:00pm: Dinner 8:00pm: Broadway show 10:00pm: Return to hotel
Day 4: 9:30am: Leave hotel, ride subway to Central Park 11:00am: Play double header 4:00pm: Return to hotel 5:00pm: Visit Greenwich Village, Century 21 (discount shopping), and Ground Zero
Day 5: 9:00am: Leave hotel, ride subway to view Top of the Rock (Rockefeller Center) 12:00pm: Harlem RBI clinic 5:00pm: Dinner at the Pier 7:00 pm: Harbor Cruise
Day 6: 11:00 am: Shuttle bus picks up from hotel to airport Depart after 1:00pm
