Home Run Derby Rules 1. Each team will choose 1 player to compete. 2. Each team must provide a pitcher, catcher, and outfielders. 3. Players will hit until they have recorded 6 outs. An out is any swing that is not a Home Run. 4. The top 4 players with the most recorded Home Runs will advance to the finals. The Home Run count will be reset for the finals. Each player in the finals will hit until 6 outs are recorded. 5. The player with the most Home Runs in the finals will be crowned the champion. * Triple Crown will provide baseballs.
18U Home Run Contest: July 22nd @ The Diamond. The contest will begin directly after team introductions starting at 5pm.
17U Home Run Contest: July 28th @ RF&P Park - 6pm. The contest will begin after team introductions starting at 6pm.
16U Home Run Contest: July 29th @ RF&P Park - 6pm. The contest will begin after team introductions starting at 6pm.
Team Introductions Information We will begin lining teams up on the field 15 minutes prior to the start. Teams will be called out by our PA Announcer individually in front of the U.S. Baseball Championship banner for family and friends to take pictures.
We would recommend teams to wear their jerseys, but team t-shirts or warmups work fine as well.
