Force Soccer  www.forcesoccer.org

In the Spring of 2000, Triple Crown Sports of Fort Collins, Colorado, purchased the Force women's soccer franchise. Triple Crown has been very active in the soccer community during the 90's, with past ownership of the 3 on 3 Soccer Shootout and the Triple Crown Soccer National Series and Championship.

It is our goal with the Force to continue the community effort that was amassed by the Force players and fans. In three years, the team has captured the hearts and minds of the community.

The Fort Collins Force is an elite women's soccer team and competes in the W-League of the United Soccer League. The W-League boasts the highest level of women's soccer in the nation and features collegiate, post-collegiate and national team players. The Force competes in the 16 team, elite W1 division and entertains one of the toughest conferences in the league: Fort Collins Force (1998 W2 National Champions), Denver Diamonds (1997 Western Conference Champions), Chicago Cobras (2000 W1 National Champs) and North Texas Heat (1999 W2 National Champions.)

The Force was founded in 1996 by post-collegiate soccer players Kristen Mainella and Amy Snider who wanted to continue playing competitively and inspire young players in the Fort Collins community. In additon to building a nationally competitive team, the Force is decidated to motivating and inspiring young soccer players.

The Force provides several developmental programs including a Force Reserve team comprised of high school players who aspire to play at the collegiate level, and the Force training program. We have coached and mentored more than 5,000 youth in the Northern Colorado area.
