Collegiate Experience

General – Gamble was known as a solid presence in the paint for Alabama … Often played against bigger and taller opponents in the deep post out of pure team necessity, but will be called on to play the 3/4 positions for the Chill … Alabama’s team captain her senior season … Has college career highs of 23 points (vs. No. 5 Tennessee her senior season) and 10 rebounds (vs. Vanderbilt her sophomore year) … Traveled to Poland between her junior and senior seasons to play on an Athletes In Action mission team.

2004-2005 – Started 23 of 26 games and scored in every game … Averaged 10.9 points per game and 4.3 rebounds per game … Her career scoring high came in her third-to-last college game, when she poured in 23 points at home against the fifth-ranked Tennessee Volunteers … Her previous high was 21 points, which she hit her junior season and matched in her first game as a senior … Became more of a 3-point shooter, draining 10 of 29 (.345), after sinking just 3 of 18 in her first three seasons.

2003-2004 – Played in 27 games, earning six starts … Reached double-digit points in seven games, including a team-best 18-point effort against Ole Miss in the SEC Tournament … Her team’s second-leading rebounder in SEC play.

2002-2003 – Saw action in all 28 games including 20 starts … Ranked third on the team in scoring and second in rebounding … Grabbed career high 10 rebounds against Vanderbilt as part of her first career double-double (15 points) … Scored in double figures 11 times … Ranked seventh in the SEC for free-throw shooting in league play.
