Colorado native Danielle Coleman will return for her second season with the Colorado Chill after a season ending knee injury in 2005. “I am thrilled to return to the Chill”, says Coleman.
“I look forward to making a strong comeback after tearing my ACL last season.”
Last season Coleman competed for time at the shooting guard position. Prior to her professional career with the Chill, Danielle played at Western State where she ranks 9th in school history for 3-point percentage in a career (.313).
Danielle will be working extensively in the off-season in marketing efforts with the Chill. She will be making daily appearances at elementary schools across the Front Range, reinforcing our philosophy of giving back to the community.
Coleman joins Becky Hammon, Katie Cronin, Ruth Riley, and Jamie Carey so far on the 2006 roster. Fans interested in purchasing season tickets can do so by calling Melissa at 970-223-6644 ext. 167.
