Colorado Prepares for Final Road Trip of Season
Colorado Faces Final Tests Before Playoffs

Thursday, March 24, 2005
FORT COLLINS, Colo. - The Colorado Chill will take to the road for the final time of the 2005 season this weekend, as they will travel to Chicago on Friday and then to San Jose on Sunday for an afternoon game with the Spiders.

The Chill will look to win their fifth consecutive game of the season, which would match their longest winning streak of the season, on Friday night in a pivotal game with the Chicago Blaze.

Chicago is currently in a battle with the Lubbock Hawks and Dallas Fury for the second seed in the NWBL playoffs, which begin on Wednesday, March 30. Chicago currently sits one back of Lubbock and two games behind second place Dallas heading into the weekend.

Colorado and Chicago have matched up five times already this season with the Chill winning four times. Chicago's only win came on Feb. 6 when they beat Colorado 92-77.

After Friday's night's game in Chicago, Colorado will then travel to San Jose to take on the 3-19 Spiders. The Chill's game with San Jose will take place on Sunday afternoon at 5 p.m. MST.

Colorado has also played San Jose five times this season, entering action with the same record they hold against Chicago at 4-1. San Jose stunned Colorado back on Feb. 26 in California.

The Chill will return home after the weekend to prepare for the playoffs that begin next week. Because of their wins last weekend over Dallas and Birmingham, Colorado has clinched home court throughout the playoffs.

Colorado's first playoff game will take place on Wednesday, March 30 at 7 p.m. at the Budweiser Events Center. If the playoffs were to begin today, Colorado would host the Blaze.

If Colorado were to win on Wednesday night, they would host the NWBL title game on Friday, April 1 at 7 p.m.

Individual game tickets for the 2005 playoffs can be purchased online at www.comcasttix.com, by phone at 877-544-8499 or at the Budweiser Events Center Box Office.
