LOVELAND, Colo. - The Colorado Chill women's professional basketball team announced today that they will host a charity bowling event on Monday, March 14 at Chipper's Lanes on North College in Fort Collins.

The inaugural event will be entitled the "Chill Bowl for Charity" and proceeds, minus expenses, will benefit the Boys and Girls Club.

For just $35, fans will receive three games of bowling (including shoes), dinner, two tickets to the Chill game on March 20 against Birmingham and the opportunity to bid on silent auction items.

To register for the event, call Aaron Moore in the Colorado Chill office at 970-223-6644 x.167. Registrations will be accepted until the close of business on Wednesday, March 9. It is recommended to call today as spaces are filling fast.

"This event is a wonderful way for our players and coaches to not only interact with fans on a social level, but to also give back to the community" said Chill General Manager Aaron Moore. "The fans in Northern Colorado have been great to us and it's important to reach out and give back."

Colorado is currently 12-4 on the season and holds a 2.5 game lead over the second place Dallas Fury. The Chill's next home game will come on Sunday, March 13, when the Chicago Blaze visits the Budweiser Events Center. The NWBL is a six-team league that features more than 25 active WNBA players.
