  • Colorado Chill Sign Player from Local Tryouts The Colorado Chill have announced that they have signed 6’4” Layla Schwarz to the 2006 roster. Schwarz is a 2005 graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University.
  • Becky Hammon to Spin on Wheel of Fortune That’s right, Colorado Chill All Star Becky Hammon will take her spin moves to the Wheel of Fortune Wednesday, November 2, to help raise money for the American Red Cross.
  • Erin Scholz Back With the Chill The Colorado Chill of the National Women's Basketball League (NWBL) announced today that former University of Colorado standout Erin Scholz will return for the 2006 season.

  • Cronin Re-Signs Katie Cronin announced today that she will be back for her third and final season with the Colorado Chill.

  • Chill Host Local Tryouts The Colorado Chill will be holding their open tryouts from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM on Saturday, October 15, 2005, at The Gym of the Rockies. There are four slots that the Chill will be trying to fill.
  • Riley Back With the Chill Ruth Riley will be back in double 0's for the Chill for the 2006 season. She had a 3 year contract with an exit option which she chose not to excercise.
  • Chill Resigns With NWBL The Chill have resigned a contract with the National Women's Basketball League. In addition, the schedule will look a bit different this year by reducing the season by two home and two away game.
  • Cronin Signs WIth San Antonio The Chill announced that guard/forward Katie Cronin has signed a one-year contract with the San Antonio Silver Stars of the WNBA.
  • Bacon Signs With San Antonio The Chill announced that forward Carrie Bacon has signed a one-year contract with the San Antonio Silver Stars of the WNBA.
  • Sports Radio Network (WSRN) to Broadcast NWBL Championship Sports Radio Network (WSRN), the official broadcast partner of The National Women's Basketball League (NWBL), will be home for the 2005 NWBL Championship, as the internet based station will be presenting action on both a taped delayed pay-per-view and pay-per-hear basis, beginning on Thursday, April 7, 2005.
  • Colorado Wins NWBL Title Over Dallas Colorado was able to escape with a 77-70 victory over the Dallas Fury.
  • Title Game Will Feature #1 and #2 Scorers After joining the NWBL in 2004, the Colorado Chill and Dallas Fury own identical records of 33-15 and they will meet in the league title game for the second straight season on Friday night at the Budweiser Events Center.
  • Strong Second Half Propels Chill to Win After a slow start to the game and just a five-point lead after the first half, the Colorado Chill responded with a strong second half effort to pull-away with an 83-67 win in their semifinal win over the Chicago Blaze.
  • Colorado Prepares for Semifinal Battle with Chicago The Chill clinched the top seed in the NWBL playoffs for the second straight season with a record of 16-8 and won a share of the regular season title. Chicago finished the regular season in fourth place with a record of 13-11.

  • Final Road Trip of the Season The Chill will take to the road for the final time of the 2005 season this weekend, as they will travel to Chicago on Friday and then to San Jose on Sunday for an afternoon game with the Spiders.
  • CTV-25 to Air Chill Games Colorado State University's Campus Television (CTV-25) and the Colorado Chill announced today that they would air the final three home games on a tape-delayed basis.
  • Colorado Blow Out Power Chill defeat the Birmingham Power 91-57 to wrap up home court throughout the playoffs.
  • Colorado Steals a Win The Chill won their 23rd straight game at the Budweiser Events Center as they squeaked out a one-point win over the Dallas Fury, 74-73 on Friday night.
  • Fan Appreciation Weekend The Chill will end the 2005 home schedule this weekend, as well as host Fan Appreciation Weekend.   • Chill Survive Late Surge Meeting for the second time in less than a week, Colorado got the revenge they were looking for on Saturday as they defeated the Birmingham Power 83-72.
  • Colorado Escapes Dallas in Overtime Anna DeForge of the Dallas Fury almost single-handedly ended the Chill’s home court winning streak at 16 games as she scored 41 points, but Colorado was able to escape with a 99-92 overtime victory.
